We're a family team who founded Blackwood Motor Company in Dunfermline in 2026 with one simple idea:

To sell cars the way we'd want to buy them ourselves — properly prepared, fairly priced and with no pressure.

We're both genuine car enthusiasts, and between us we have over 20 years of experience in the motor trade. That experience gives us a real advantage when it comes to sourcing quality vehicles at great prices, and we use that knowledge to find cars that offer genuine value for money.

We specialise in cars for first-time buyers, families and anyone simply looking for a great car at a fair price. Every vehicle that leaves us receives genuine care and attention to detail, with each car prepared to our own high standards.

Every vehicle comes with a 6-month standard warranty, with longer warranty options available for those who want that extra peace of mind and worry-free motoring.

Local, friendly and straightforward

We're proud to serve customers throughout Fife and beyond, and we want buying a car from us to be as easy and hassle-free as possible.

If you're travelling by public transport, we're happy to arrange collection from the local bus or train station. We're also only around 20 minutes from Edinburgh Airport, so if you're flying up to view one of our cars, we'll be there to meet you with a smile.
